Hello Healthy Foodie Friends -
The full menu is back this week, including Detox. I also have a new entrée to tell you about. I will be making Eggplant Pizza With Turkey Pepperoni. It is sort of a cross between pizza and eggplant parmesan. I will roast eggplant slices and then cover them with marinara, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and turkey pepperoni. I will then run them back under the broiler for a couple of minutes so that the end result will make you forget all about traditional pizza!
I am bringing back a soup that I haven't made since this time last year. I am using all of the Butternut, Acorn and various other winter squash that were in my CSA box this week. My Organic Winter Squash Soup is similar to the Butternut Squash Soup but it has a milder, smoother taste.
The Strawberry, Spinach & Toasted Almond Salad with Lite Poppyseed Dressing is back by popular demand. I'm so glad you all liked it a couple of weeks ago!
Finally, I am offering family sized entrees this week. (see menu below) They are priced at $36 each and will serve 5-7 people. We will see how this goes and then I will probably add family sized sides to the menu.
Pick-up will be Monday, Sept. 12th after 10 AM. Delivery to PPE will be at 11:30.
