Menu For 9-26/2 Pick-up days/Grass-fed Beef!

Hello Healthy Foodie Friends -

First off I want to let you know that I will be out of town Oct. 1-4, so
there will be no food pick-up on Monday, October 3rd. (We will be in Las
Vegas for my birthday!) HOWEVER, there will be TWO pick-up days next week -
Monday the 26th and then again on Friday the 30th if you would like to pick
up some food for the following week. (You are welcome to go ahead and get
extra to put in your freezer on Monday.)

Secondly, I am excited to announce that I am now using grass-fed beef in my
Lean Mean Meatloaf, with no added hormones or antibiotics, from Meadow
Branch Beef. I buy it from a couple whose children go to Sydney's school.
Their family raises the cattle on a farm in Manchester and the couple who we
know handle the sales here in Nashville. Here's a link if you want to check

Finally, thank you for all the great responses to the Mashed "Faux-tatoes"
made from cauliflower. They will be back on the menu tonight. I'm bringing
back the Squash Parmesan Casserole - the layered one with zucchini, squash,
tomatoes, onions, turkey bacon and grated parmesan. You will also notice the
Vegetarian Stuffed Bell Peppers are back. Thank you for your requests - and
please keep them coming!

Don't forget about the family sized entrees. (see menu below) They are
priced at $36 each and will serve 5-7 people.

Pick-up will be Monday, Sept. 26th after 10 AM. Delivery to PPE will be at
11:30. And the additional pick-up day will be Friday, Sept. 30th after 10
AM.

Menu For Week Of Sept. 12/Family Sized Entrees Are Here!

Hello Healthy Foodie Friends -

The full menu is back this week, including Detox. I also have a new entrée to tell you about. I will be making Eggplant Pizza With Turkey Pepperoni. It is sort of a cross between pizza and eggplant parmesan. I will roast eggplant slices and then cover them with marinara, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and turkey pepperoni. I will then run them back under the broiler for a couple of minutes so that the end result will make you forget all about traditional pizza!

I am bringing back a soup that I haven't made since this time last year. I am using all of the Butternut, Acorn and various other winter squash that were in my CSA box this week. My Organic Winter Squash Soup is similar to the Butternut Squash Soup but it has a milder, smoother taste.

The Strawberry, Spinach & Toasted Almond Salad with Lite Poppyseed Dressing is back by popular demand. I'm so glad you all liked it a couple of weeks ago!

Finally, I am offering family sized entrees this week. (see menu below) They are priced at $36 each and will serve 5-7 people. We will see how this goes and then I will probably add family sized sides to the menu.

Pick-up will be Monday, Sept. 12th after 10 AM. Delivery to PPE will be at 11:30.
